About Us

The Theater

Our brand of theater tends toward the comically absurd and socially irreverent.  Our plays have featured a diverse crop of characters, ranging from a Canadian Jesus to an effeminate Aristotle, lesbian vampires and a three guys stuck in a Wal-Mart bathroom.  Though charity remains at the core of our mission, we actively avoid preaching to our audiences.  Our shows are meant to entertain, not to teach lessons.

The Charity

We're committed to helping those who need it most, which is why most of our shows have benefited the World Medical Fund, a small, UK-based charity which sponsors orphans in Malawi. However, we are always willing to help out other causes in the wake of tragedy.  Following the tsunami disaster in December 2004, we sent the proceeds from our February 2005 how to UNICEF in order to help victims in South Asia.  Likewise, we supported Habitat for Humanity's hurricane relief efforts in late 2005 with one-third of the proceeds raised during our October 2005 production.

Who We Are

We're a fifth-year student organization dedicated to producing theater in order to raise money for charity. Our shows are completely
student-run, including the writing and directing.  Our productions are
low- budget, allowing us to
keep our ticket prices low ($5), and ensuring that all of our proceeds go to charity.
